Transfer The Authority Of Pharmacies And Pharmacists From The Ministry Of Health To DHA

With reference to the ministerial decree no. 62 for the year 2013 dated on 03.02.2013 concerning the transfer of the authority of pharmacists and pharmacies in the Emirate of Dubai from Ministry of Health (MOH) to Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the following powers are transferred, accordingly, to the DHA:

1 – Licensing and license renewal of all the pharmacies located in the Emirate of Dubai.

2 – Licensing and renewal of licensing for all professionals working or like to work in pharmacies in Dubai only.

3-Inspection on all the pharmacies and professional pharmacists working in pharmacies in Dubai to assure their liability to the terms and conditions  of  the federal laws and regulations relating to pharmaceutical features.

So all pharmacists and pharmacies should abide by the above and to transfer their licenses from the Ministry of Health (MOH) to the DHA, additionally correct their situations, in case of requiring that , before starting the implementation of the resolution starting from 1/6/2013
